| April 18 | Spring Paddle at SERC | Kayak the Rhode River with the West/Rhode RIVERKEEPER. Guided paddles are a great way to experience the river. Enjoy a leisurely, two-hour paddle through the river’s nooks and crannies. In addition to sightseeing and wildlife watching, you will learn a good bit about the natural and human history that has shaped the watershed. We will stop for a picnic lunch along the river. (Lunch is provided and included in the registration fee.) |
| April 25 | Water Quality Snapshot | We will be joining the South River Federation for a day of water testing in the West/Rhode Watershed. We will sample 12 sites simultaneously (within a two-hour period) to create a “Snapshot” of river conditions. |
| May 16 | 4th Annual Wade-In 11AM at SERC | Please join us for our Annual Wade-In at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC). Stick around to check out SERC’s Open House. Call our office if you’d like to volunteer. |
| June 13 | Rhythm on the River party at Hartge’s | Show your support for the RIVERKEEPER and treat yourself to a casual riverfront party at Hartge's. |
